- One very cool thing about being involved with PetChatz is our team’s ability to get to know experts in the pet and pet behavior space. One of these great people is Dr. Nicholas Dodman of Tufts University. Dodman has been a great mentor to our company and has helped us explore ways to enrich the human pet bond and how to influence behavior in animals. Dr. Dodman, who has recently retired from Tufts, has a very cool book coming out: Pets on the Couch: Neurotic Dogs, Compulsive Cats, Anxious Birds, and the New Science of Animal Psychiatry. In this book you can learn all sorts of things about why your pet is the way it is – and perhaps how to help them be their best selves!!
